The Owner and CEO
Evangeline is a personal finance coach and educator who believes that debt-free living is living your dreams.
Her passion ignited in 2013 when she cofounded Lady Moguls, a network of professional Black women in D.C., spurring her to teach money management courses in Fairfax County before launching GYPW. She teaches Black and Brown career professionals about cashflow and helps them to create a financial plan to pay off debt, save an emergency fund, and start building wealth.
Evangeline isn’t just about business. She loves hiking, reading, traveling, and enjoying fun moments with family and close friends. She gives back to her community serving as a financial coach with Britepaths and as Treasurer of her homeowners association board.

GYPW is committed to helping Black and Brown career professionals get out of debt now so they can:
- Own and amass wealth earlier in life for enjoyment and long-term financial security.
- Make significant investments in communities of color to stimulate local economies.
- Transfer wealth to the next generations, increasing our economic and political power to change and do good in the world.
Our Philosophy & Approach
I believe that members of Black and Brown communities would choose to live debt-free if we had the knowledge and skills to make it happen. GYPW teaches money management to create options that enrich our lives in pursuit of our talents, passions, and purpose.
GYPW combines education (seminars) and real-life application (consultations) to teach Black and Brown career professionals how to use their most powerful wealth-building tool—their monthly income—to get out of debt to build and transfer wealth.

She shares her personal finance philosophy and money management strategies in an authentic and relatable style inspiring audiences to look at their finances differently. In a world where every dollar counts, actionable advice helps people make wiser decisions with their income.
