Evangeline combined 30 years of strategic leadership consulting with Fortune 500 companies and 20 years of financial coaching with philanthropic and academic institutions to create something truly special: her very own company called Growing Your Personal Wealth, LLC.

Owner and CEO
Evangeline is a Certified Financial Social Work Coach (CFSWC), who believes that debt-free living is essential for achieving your dreams.
Her passion for financial coaching ignited in 2013 when she cofounded Lady Moguls, a network of professional Black women in D.C. to become more intentional about their personal finances. In 2014, she joined a local philanthropic organization as a financial coach and, in 2017, began teaching money management courses in Fairfax County.
These experiences paved the way for Evangeline to launch GYPW. She now focuses on income and debt management, teaching high-income earners to get organized in their finances and create a financial plan to pay off debt, build an emergency fund, and start wealth building.
Evangeline isn’t just about business; she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and creating fun moments with family and close friends. She also gives back to her community by serving as a board trustee with Catalyst Development Cooperation (CDC), a financial coach with Britepaths, and as treasurer of her homeowners trustee board.
Our Philosophy and Approach
These non-negotiables underpin everything Evangeline teaches:
- Financial literacy is the foundation. You cannot manage what you don’t understand. When clients learn the language of money — when they can sit across from a CFP or an estate planning attorney and hold their own — everything changes. Literacy is not optional. It is the entry point.
- Cash flow is the crux. Every financial outcome — debt, savings, wealth, stress, empowerment — traces back to cash flow. Whether you are managing your household or your business, the mechanics are identical. Master cash flow and you have the master key.
- Developing systems that create transformation. Motivation fades. Discipline fluctuates. But a system runs whether you feel like it or not. Clients don’t just set goals — they build frameworks, use the right tools and templates, and align their money with the life they are actually living.
